Hutchinson Composite Squadron is a Group II unit of Minnesota Wing. Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. The CAP, as a congressional chartered non-profit organization, maintains a mutually supportive relationship with the USAF, executing inland search and rescue operations and training future leaders in return for funding and support. CAP members dedicate their time and energy to supporting and improving their community.

ConnectCare serves all of Mcleod County, the South Eastern portion of Meeker County, the Southern portion of Wright County, the Western part of Carver County, the Northern portion of Sibley County, and the North Western portion of Renville County. All requests are handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure that quality standards of staffing and on-call coverage are available.

Support group open to individuals 18 years old plus who are grieving the death of a loved one.  Provides an opportunity for participants to share experiences and feelings in a safe enviroment, listen to others who are experiencing grief and gain new ideas that may help in healing.

Help promote the amateur radio hobby, license amateur radio operators, promote support for the national weather service in emergency situations for disasters when other ways of communication fail.

Crow River Arts (CRA) is the only multi-disciplinary arts organization in the Hutchinson, Minnesota, Crow River area. Specialties are educational workshops and classes, community choir (Crow River Singers) performances, visual arts exhibits and supporting area special events

Crow River Habitat for Humanity, Inc. (CRHFH) is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged. The CRHFH serves the McLeod County region of central Minnesota.

The Hutchinson Health Care Foundation is a not for profit organization dedicated to our mission- Seek Community Funding for Health Care Programs. Founded in 1984, the Foundation accepts donations for Hutchinson Community Hospital, Burns Manor Nursing Home and ConnectCare- Hospice Programs.

 Since 2003, the Hutchinson Theatre Company has produced three shows per year, a spring dessert theater, a summer musical, and a fall dinner theater. In 1984 in conjunction with Meeker County, the McLeod County Chapter was formed. In 1985 McLeod County separated from the Meeker County chapter. The McLeod County has become a national success story and the model for other chapters to copy. (There are currently over 600 chapters and over 110,000 members of Pheasants Forever across the United States and Canada.)
