Peanut Marshmallow Bars

These bars are a MUST for any potlock, or just for snacking around the house.
Crust:
1 package (18 1/4oz) yellow cake mix
2 Tbsp water
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 egg
4 cups miniature marshmallows
Topping:
1 package (10oz) peanut butter chips
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups rice krispies
2 cups salted peanuts
Instructions:
Mix cake mix, water, butter and egg until blended (batter will be thick). Spread into 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350F for 22-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with marshamllows. Bake 2 minutes longer. Let cool while topping is prepared.
In a large saucepan, combine the peanut butter chips, corn syrup and butter; cook and stir over medium heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, rice krispies and peanuts. Spread topping over marshmallows and crust. Cool completely.
